How much do managed IT services cost in South Carolina?

Managed IT services typically run $100-$250 per user per month for SMBs, depending on the depth of coverage, compliance requirements, and whether Microsoft licensing is included. Our Fundamentals tier starts at $125/user/mo (with M365 Business Standard included); our Vanguard tier runs $165-$215/user/mo with M365 Business Premium. Cybersecurity packages add $12-$85/user depending on tier. We publish every price — most MSPs in the Carolinas hide theirs.

Do you charge per user or per device?

Per user. We bundle Microsoft 365 licensing and support into a flat per-user fee so pricing scales with your team, not with device count. This model works best for modern businesses where employees use multiple devices (laptop, phone, maybe a tablet) — you pay once per person, not three times.

Do you require long-term contracts?

Our standard agreement is 1 year, which matches the annual Microsoft licensing commit that keeps your licensing costs lower. We don't do auto-renewal traps, surprise extensions, or 3- to 5-year lock-ins that are common with some MSPs. After year one, terms flex to match your needs.

What's included in the monthly fee?

Everything listed on the tier comparison above — including Microsoft 365 licensing (Business Standard in Fundamentals, Business Premium in Vanguard), unlimited remote support, patch management, proactive monitoring, cyber awareness training, onboarding/offboarding, and technology business reviews. The only billable extras are after-hours support on Fundamentals, small projects on Fundamentals, and project work that falls outside scope (hardware, migrations, new site buildouts).

Do you offer nonprofit pricing?

Yes. 501(c)(3) nonprofits get two benefits: Microsoft passes through dramatically reduced license pricing (M365 Business Premium drops from $22 to $5.50/user/mo), and we apply a 20% discount to our managed services fee. For most nonprofits this brings Fundamentals to roughly $93-$125/user/mo and Vanguard to $120-$160/user/mo. Verification of 501(c)(3) status via IRS determination letter required at onboarding.

How quickly do you respond to emergencies?

Fundamentals tier: emergency response within 1 hour. Vanguard tier: emergency response within 15 minutes. Both tiers include a direct phone line — we're a real MSP, not a ticketing queue at a PE-owned rollup.

Do I need a cybersecurity package on top of managed IT?

Realistically, yes. Our managed services include foundational security hygiene (patching, MFA, endpoint antivirus), but dedicated cybersecurity tooling — EDR, SOC monitoring, email encryption, DNS filtering, SIEM — lives in our cybersecurity packages. If you're in a regulated industry (healthcare, legal, financial) you'll want Sentinel or Citadel. If you're in general business, Watch is a reasonable baseline.

What happens in my first month?

Week 1-2: documentation audit, access onboarding, baseline security assessment. Week 3: tooling deployment (RMM, EDR, backup, M365 tenant review).
